1. Digital, Soft & Research Skills Development

Digital skills, soft skills, and research skills are all important for personal and professional growth.

In today’s world, digital skills are essential. These skills can range from basic computer literacy to more advanced skills like coding, data analysis, and digital marketing.

Soft skills, are the personal qualities that enable individuals to work effectively with others. These skills include communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability, and time management.

Research skills are essential for conducting accurate and thorough research. During the International week 10 workshops on digital, soft and research skills is going to take place.

2. Round Table (Internationalization of Higher Education)

Round table on the Internationalization of Higher Education in Europe and Its Future Prospects.

Over the past 25 years, the international dimension of higher education in Europe has become more central on the agenda of European and national governments, institutions of higher education and their representative bodies, student organizations and accreditation agencies.
In this round table we discuss ideas and plausible solutions related to topics such as 1) Staff and Student Mobility 2) Teaching Curricula 3) Internationalization at home 4) The role of European Alliances 5) Research in Euro Area. The Round table will take place on the 17th of May.

3.  ATHENA Universities’ Fair

During the international week networking events are going to take place. Purpose thereof is to enhance the network and to exchange information and experiences.  In these events you will have the opportunity to 1) present your University 2) to exchange opinions for students and staffs or 3) to present your ongoing or future projects. The networking events is going to take place on the 16th, 17th and 18th of May.

5. Invited Lectures

Throughout the international week lectures from invited speakers  are going to take place. The presantations will include a wide rage of topis from different scientific fields. Thus, the students and the attendees will have the opportunity to be informed about issues outside of their expertise. The lectures will take place on the 15th, 16th , 18th and 19th of May.

4. ATHENA Career Office Meeting

The ATHENA Career Service offers seminars, workshops, trainings, individual career advice, and coaching in order to help students to match their skills with what the market demands.
During the meeting, the present activities of each local Career Service and initiatives as well as future activities is going to be discussed. Moreover, the opportunity to meet students and representatives of local companies that participate in the International Week will be given. At the end, a job interview workshop is going to be performed.
